Gawai Binging in Kuching

i was really glad that finally there's an official (maybe semi-official) dental event in Kuching cause it means i have an opportunity to be back home again, not only to be with family & friends, but to binge!

claypot mee, tau hu noodles and kueh tiaw at Ang Cheng Ho

Scoops at Laksamana Cheng Ho next to Maybank

had fish & chips.. it was ok, mango smoothie and ice cream on waffles

Kim Bay Hong Kong Macau Restaurant at Hills Shopping Mall

dim sum and my tall fruit desserts

compilation of more hawker food with laksa, seafood kolo mee, clay pot mee & char kueh at Bormill

Go Fun Kee Bak Kut Teh, Rock Road

Berrylite Frozen Yoghurt at Boulevard had a special opening offer of buy 1 free 1.. and i must say, Boulevard now compared to 10+ years ago is so much better! great improvement indeed, no wonder everyone goes to Boulevard

chocolate and natural frozen yoghurt, each with 3 toppings

 myself & grace

on my last day i had more and more laksa and beef noodles at Madam Tang.. these are both rare in Limbang

and last stop in Kuching was at 7th mile for the original Teh C Peng, the founder of the 3-layer drink (and so they say)

and these are all just the beginning of my Gawai binging, which explains the increase in body mass. well, its one of the 4 holiday seasons in Sarawak (Chinese New Year, Gawai, Hari Raya, Christmas.. nope not the 4 Spring-Summer-Autumn-Winter) so its ok to binge, right? ><
