continuing from the busy week...
yes, i am a supporter of visiting your local tourist destination to promote your own hometown and boost the local economy. guys, go book a holiday away in your own home country!
went for white lady and noodles (crispy meehoon wasn't what i expected) for late lunch at the Golf and Country Club on the way home
diner at the Living Room, next to Havana and Bla Bla Bla, has a nice ambience (as all the cafes in that area).. visited the longhouse in the day, time to have dinner in a longhouse as well at night (but cannot compare to the real experience during community service, of course!) was in time to catch the latest Pirates movie as well, at old-school Lotus at Star Cineplex. makes me realized how old this place was since the birth of the Spring's MBO.
Sunday: breakfast time.. not only with Kuching's kolo mee but Foochow's dian bian hu (pieces of cooked flour in soup), chicken mee sua, chao wi tao (pork cooked in herbs), chao ho ngan (fried fatter rice noodles) and kom piang (my favourite mince pork mini burgers)..
the ayam penyet here is really famous and get u asking for more but yet to find out which place has the best ayam penyet (besides Coffee O Corner, Rumah Hijau, Chilli Peppers, Gersik etc).. and i didn't realize its a Sarawak dish! really??? had the bananan cheese as well, very sinful, and the raja milo here is very Milo-y thanks to the powder!
